DHAKA, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- The winners of Huawei's "Seeds for the Future 2025 Bangladesh" have started their 10-day trip to China, said a statement from Huawei Bangladesh on Sunday.
According to the statement, this program is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of promising young talents by exposing them to the latest advancements in technology and innovation.
Eight winners have been selected from around 3,000 applicants after multi-level screening, including interviews, written tests, presentation skills, group and individual performance.
During the trip, they will attend the Digital Talent Summit along with training on 5G, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and smart city, and social exchange programs.
By participating in expert-led training sessions and engaging with industry leaders at the summit, the students will gain hands-on experience and a global perspective, empowering them to become future leaders in Bangladesh's rapidly evolving ICT (information and communications technology) sector.
Noting that 2025 marks the 12th year of arranging Seeds for the Future program in Bangladesh, Tanvir Ahmed, head of external communications at Huawei South Asia, said, "It is not just a competition, but a valuable journey through which our students get advanced ICT and Telco knowledge in Bangladesh or abroad." ■
